Key points:

Whether people love cats or hate them, everyone probably agrees that we have too many in Maricopa County.

The Animal Defense League of Arizona has sterilized more than 3000 cats in the Valley of the Sun since mid March.  Its program is the best solution for Maricopa County’s cat problem. First, it is the only one being offered.   Secondly, other solutions are too costly, and they do not work because cats reproduce so quickly.

The Spay/Neuter Hotline is a program of the Animal Defense League of Arizona.  In addition to its Trap Neuter Return program for feral cats, it provides referrals for dog and cat spays and neuters throughout Arizona.
