Comments Submitted on Grand Canyon Bison Environmental Assessment

Environmental Assessment. Comments were submitted to NPS on behalf of ADLA, Animal Welfare Institute, and Humane Society of the United States, stating that the groups “strongly encourage the National Park Service to reconsider its strategies for bison management in Grand Canyon National Park and to embrace non-lethal and humane methods to manage the bison herd if credible evidence exists that such management is necessary.” Read comments here.
