ADLA Investigates Dolphin’s Death at Arizona’s Dolphinaris

ADLA and other groups are investigating the death of Bodie, a young dolphin at Dolphinaris Arizona. The seven-year-old dolphin reportedly died in September. We are seeking answers regarding Bodie’s illness and death and to determine the condition of other dolphins at the facility.
Captive dolphins are highly susceptible to respiratory ailments, and our groups forewarned officials, the media, and the public that this might be a probable outcome of housing dolphins in a dusty desert environment.
