The first place animal abuse can slip through the cracks is if no one reports it! Be an effective advocate by learning more about how to report and follow-up, which actions will promote investigations and prosecutions, and which actions can be detrimental.

A panel of seasoned prosecutors will talk about how animal cruelty prosecutions work in Maricopa County and how you and other animal advocates can be an effective force in reporting, advocating for investigation and follow-up on pending cases.

A panel of seasoned investigators will talk about how animal cruelty investigations work in Maricopa County; how necessary it is for you to report cruelty and to let your veterinarian know about their statutory duty to report. They will also share tips to ask for follow-up and accountability.
